Year round Trick or Treat is a known game bug I think ever since Seasons came out. No holiday now, but the Trick or Treaters still show up year round only not as often. I gave up and just keep a bowl of candy by the door. Some have said there is a correlation between that and having pumpkins on the lot, anywhere, even in the fridge or growing in the ground but I've seen it happen with and without the pumpkins.
